Welcome to the website of the South Memphis Presiding Elder's District of the West Tennessee Annual Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.

The purpose of this website is to aid the Presiding Elder and the Ministers of the district in our attempt to become more visible and more effective on our witness mission of building the kingdom of God. Herein, you will find samples, excerpts and helpful information regarding the district. Use this information to learn more about us. It is our prayer that it will help guide you to a deeper connection to Christ with us.

The Churches and District model our worship services under the directions the African Methodist Episcopal Church and our beliefs are based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, which is about, "The kingdom of God on earth, prayer, the Holy Spirit, and the eschatology he taught in parables and by his own examples.
